Rothay Manor Hotel is a luxury boutique 4 star hotel on the outskirts of Ambleside in the English Lake District. We offer fabulous guest accommodation coupled with a modern British restaurant. With a total of 23 rooms, 10 of which are suites, we offer exceptional service in a warm and friendly atmosphere, creating a home from home experience for all guests.
We are seeking a full time Waiter / Waitress to join our front of house team.
Previous experience is required in a good hotel or restaurant environment .
The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent food and drink, coupled with an eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
You must be hard working and well presented, with excellent time keeping and a can do attitude.
The normal working week is 5 days out of 7, with days off consecutively. The role requires a combination of split and straight shifts totaling approximately 40- 45 hours per week.
Hours worked over 45 per week are paid in addition to your salary
You will receive 28 days paid holiday per year, plus generous gratuities paid monthly (circa £200 - £350 per month) and uniform provided.
Salary dependent upon experience, starting from £29,250.
You must be eligible to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
All employees are free to join our NEST Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions.
2 Meals per day are available when on duty.
Onsite accommodation is available with this role.
All staff have their own room with access to a large kitchen and laundry facilities.
Free wi-fi is provided.
