As the FOH Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fast/casual restaurant inside RDU Airport. You will oversee the front-of-house (FOH) operations, supervise and lead the FOH team, and maintain excellent guest service standards. Your primary goal will be to create a positive dining experience for our guests while upholding the restaurant's policies and procedures. Reports to: Restaurant Management Team Responsibilities: Advancing the Grove Bay Mission Statement and Core Values Delivering exceptional hospitality to all guests Upholding all core Standard Operating Procedures Coaching in the moment of hourly team members Training and development of new team members Handling any guest issues that arise in a respectful manner Following all opening and closing procedures Cash handling following Grove Bay SOP Ability to expedite in adherence with the Grove Bay SOP Strong understanding of all operational systems – Toast, OpenTable, R365 Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant – ensure the restaurant is showroom ready at all times Must work a minimum of six hours during the Supervisor shift Qualifications: Must be an A Player and endorsed by Management Team, Director of Operations, and Training Department Must have worked within venue or other Grove Bay restaurant for minimum of 4 months Prior Supervisor experience Multiple language abilities a plus; fluency in English is required Skills & Knowledge: Strong attention to detail and focus on process excellence Ability to learn and bring "out of the box" ideas to the team Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess strong communication and listening skills Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills through the ability to diagnose and implement solutions Ability to set and meet deadlines Successful completion of Grove Bay's training program, including all EdApp training content Certifications: Food and Alcohol Safety training (ServSafe) Physical Demands: Ability to move throughout the venue during shifts (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment Grove Bay Crawford is an E-Verify and equal opportunity employer; you must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
