Providence Medical Group is a progressive organization offering competitive compensation and benefits in a supportive, professional work environment.   We are currently in search of a Front Office Specialist for our Huber Heights location.  PMG The Heights, like all Providence primary care practices, is a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home, and focuses on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.   What you will do:  Under supervision of the Site Supervisor, the FOS is typically the first point of contact (via phone and in-person) for the office. You will provide a wide variety of administrative support duties including but not limited to:  Job Duties: * Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner * Answers telephone calls, schedules appointments, and completes referrals * Verifies patient demographics and insurance information and ensures information is up to date and accurate * Collects co-payments and outstanding patient balances * Ensures patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments and annual well visits * Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. * Any other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the provider or site supervisor. * Must be able to work an 8 hour shift beginning as early as 7:15am and as late as 6:30pm.
