Provenance Recruitment and Staffing is currently seeking a Front Office – Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at a new manufacturing facility in Greer, SC.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This onsite role is ideal for a friendly, bubbly, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing office environment and enjoys interacting with people throughout the day.

JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone. This position supports the administrative and production teams by managing calls, emails, and order requests, entering purchase orders, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, organized, and comfortable working in a manufacturing facility.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, or receptionist role (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy office environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary coursework in business or office administration preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors; ensure all guests are welcomed and signed in according to company policy.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and customer order requests promptly.
  • Input purchase orders into the company’s system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Upload and maintain production documents, ensuring proper filing and version control.
  • Coordinate with production and shipping teams to confirm order details and timelines.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and reception area.
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Assist with scheduling and meeting coordination as needed.
