JOB DESCRIPTION

NuVista Chiropractic and Wellness is looking for a permanent part time Front Office Assistant/Administrator to work our front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
As a Front Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients at our clinic. Your duties include offering administrative support within the organization and managing patient experience. You will also be required to perform all front-desk duties: answering the phones, scheduling appointments, daily insurance billing, taking payments and rooming patients.
The successful applicant will have a welcoming, outgoing personality and enjoy building relationships with patients. We are a very busy multidisciplinary practice, so multi-tasking, accuracy, and decision making skills are essential for this position. As this is a health care role, you will be handling confidential information and it is expected that you will handle this information appropriately and use discretion when discussing your role.
The Front Office Assistant role will be required to cover vacation time for other staff as so flexibility with your schedule is a must.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Strong computer skills a must! Experience using computers in the workforce and thorough knowledge of common computer functions. Experience with Jane Practice Management software and Microsoft Office a benefit
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
