Position Overview The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at a five-star hotel and plays a crucial role in creating exceptional first and lasting impressions. This position requires professionalism, warmth, and efficiency in handling guest check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and reservations, ensuring an elevated and seamless guest experience that reflects the hotel’s luxury standards. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and courteously upon arrival. Perform smooth and accurate check-in and check-out procedures. Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints both in person and over the phone. Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Guest Experienve, Food & Beverage, etc.) to ensure guest needs are met. Maintain accurate guest records and billing information in the Property Management System (PMS). Upsell hotel services and amenities (spa, restaurants, events) to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area in line with the hotel’s five-star presentation standards. Adhere to all hotel policies, security, and service procedures. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1–2 years of front-office or guest-service experience in a luxury or five-star hotel environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hotel PMS software (e.g., Protel*) *are current PMS Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage. Professional appearance and demeanour, with strong attention to detail. Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
