Job Description Join our team as a Front Office Agent on a part-time basis (1-2 days a week) at our prestigious hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. You will be delivering warm, authentic, unforgettable service that makes every guest feel valued and at ease. We're looking for a friendly and professional individual with a hospitality DNA to be the face of our establishment, ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out. Be ready to: Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling all related paperwork and payments Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and a smooth-seamless service Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options Maintain accurate guest records and hotel information using property management software Ensure compliance with hotel standards and safety procedures Qualifications Previous experience as a Front Office Agent or in a similar role is a plus, however a passion for hospitality, guest service, and eagerness to learn are essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor - hospitality should be in your DNA :) Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems; Opera or Opera Cloud experience is a plus Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic accounting and cash handling skills MBO/HBO level of education preferably hotel management or related field Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Information Work within a highly motivated and enthusiastic team at one of the best-operating hotels in Amsterdam Receive a competitive salary in line with the Collective Labour Agreement in the Netherlands (Scale V) Opportunity to expand your earnings with our uncapped incentive program based on your up-selling and walk-in sales 8% gross holiday allowance (accrued monthly), paid out in May every year 25 vacation days per calendar year on a full-time basis Travel allowance of maximum €150,- per month Be part of Accor’s employee benefit system and enjoy discounted rates (including family and friends) all around the world together with discounts on F&B (you will receive a personal card to enjoy these benefits) Refer a friend system that gets you 200€ per referral after their probation period; paid out next month Enjoy yearly staff parties and team-building activities to support team cohesion Access to a great Learning & Development e-learning platform developed by Accor "Learn your Way" supporting your onboarding, professional, and personal development Want to power your career? - Through Accor Academy you can further your skills with discounts on courses from eCornell and internal Instructor Led Training on leadership, hospitality, and more :) For every year you stay with us you receive an Anniversary Voucher for 2 complementary days at any Swissôtel around the world.
