Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Office All Rounder to join our diverse Front Office team. Our hotel caters to both business and leisure guests, featuring three conference spaces and an in-house restaurant, ensuring an exceptional experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and Opera.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Collaborative teamwork, and excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages being a benefit.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and find solutions with a guest-focused approach, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Local Knowledge: Knowledge of the local attractions in South Brisbane, and ability to recommend attractions and activities.
  • Flexible Availability: You will be required to work a range of shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays when required
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist guests as their primary point of contact throughout their stay.
  • Facilitate friendly and enjoyable check-in, and check-out processes, providing luggage assistance, and tourism information where required.
  • Provide friendly service to external and internal guests at all times, including recommendations for local attractions as well as hotel services.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, and coordinate reservations to ensure accuracy in room allocation.
  • Handle guest inquiries both in person, and over the phone, resolving enquires promptly and efficiently.
