As a Front Office All Rounder, no two days are the same. You will assist our guests with all aspects of their arrival and departure experience, and everything in between - check in, check out, luggage assistance, and responding to guest requests - whilst at the same time, creating unforgettable heartfelt moments.

Job Description

  • Be the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests in every interaction by anticipating their needs, responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Make the check-in, check-out process run smoothly
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality, issuing of room keys, handling credit cards etc
  • Ensure the security of our guests and their possessions
  • Handle guest complaints in a positive manner escalating as required
  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage to assist guests in regard to room changes, dining bookings etc.
  • Keep other members of front office team informed on guest feedback, requirements etc. during and on shift change
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities to increase the guest experience
  • Assist with valet parking as required

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a Hotel environment
  • An energetic, team-focused, and can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Enthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their story
  • Ability to provide prompt and efficient service, including the ability to build rapport both in person and over the phone
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud is a bonus
  • The ability to work across a 24/7 roster - evenings, mornings, and weekends
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
