About the Role of Front Office Assistant Manager: Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee and ensure the smooth day to day operations of the Front Desk department. In our large 531 room hotel you will manage the hotel inventory and room allocations on a daily basis, ensuring a memorable arrival and departure experience for all of our valued guests including first time, return guests, VIP's and group business. What you will do: Focus on the guest experience by delivering exceptional and memorable service in a fast paced setting Handle guest concerns as they arise and apply effective problem solving techniques as needed Assist to lead, train, motivate and develop the team for success, cultivating a strong culture Help drive revenue through our upsell program and control labour and expenses Oversee the smooth daily operation of arrivals and departures, handling in excess of 500 movements per day Prepare for and manage our many VIP's, return guests and group business Communicate and work closely with all departments of the Hotel on a daily basis What you bring: Proven experience as a leader within Front Office, preferably within a large Hotel that delivers five star quality Passionate about engaging with guests, exceeding their expectations and managing their feedback The self confidence and experience to effectively manage the Hotel's large inventory on any given shift, which directly impacts Hotel revenue Solid verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work with complex software systems in order to manage the department The ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and evenings, with the occasional overnight shift involved What we offer: Excellent Training and Development opportunities Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Complimentary Employee Meals Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package If you think you are a fit for this role, we look forward to receiving your application!
