Kidz Therapy Zone is seeking a motivated and friendly Medical Assistant to join our team in both our Winter Garden and South Orlando locations. As a small, private pediatric therapy practice, we take pride in offering exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical Assistant with minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical office (preferably in a pediatric therapy practice)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Previous experience using EMR systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred
  • Ability to work in our Winter Garden office M/T/F 9-6:30 and cover in our SODO office W/Th 9-6:30.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and manage patients in waiting room
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and SMS inquiries with professionalism
  • Check in patients and ensure accurate information is recorded
  • Schedule new patient appointments and reschedule as needed
  • Assist providers as needed
  • Collect co-pays and assist with insurance eligibility checks
  • Support billing processes and maintain patient records
  • Perform general clerical tasks and maintain office cleanliness
  • Follow office opening and closing procedures
