Responsibilities

Your shift begins with a handover from your colleagues from the previous shift. After that, your supervisor will assign you various tasks for the day. You’ll start your shift as a Lobby Host, giving every guest a warm welcome upon arrival. You ask what you can do for the guest to provide that little extra touch.
Next, you assist guests with checking in and out, with a focus on using the Self Check-In system. You’ll also be working at the front desk, answering incoming emails and enthusiastically sharing information about the hotel, the local area, and all the hotspots in Amsterdam.
Of course, you’ll tailor your approach to the guest’s needs by listening, anticipating, and offering tips to create that WOW experience.
If a guest unexpectedly has a complaint? No problem, you resolve it, possibly together with a colleague or supervisor.
Your flexibility allows you to work this shift in the evening or at night as well.
