ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have the ability to coordinate and manage tasks effectively whilst being able to prioritise and organise substantial workloads. The ability to work under pressure, problem solve and maintain excellent working relations with others is vital.

Leadership experience in managing a large team, including:

  • Overseeing staff rosters and ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Monitoring and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Preparing and submitting daily operational reports.
  • Managing staff performance, addressing issues proactively.
  • Conducting probation reviews and supporting staff development.

You will also demonstrate.

  • Previous experience in a hospital administration position.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relations with others.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Along with a meticulous approach to identifying and correcting errors
  • Advanced computer skills using MS Office and Patient Management Systems (PMS).
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role and rostering staff (desirable).
  • Previous experience with PMS such as Meditech (desirable).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
Responsibilities

We are seeking a flexible, highly organised and enthusiastic individual with leadership skills to assist in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of our front office teams. This is a permanent part-time role, offering a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight, covering a 7-day rotating roster.
The role will be primarily based in the Emergency Department, overseeing its day-to-day operations and supporting the Front Office Manager as part of the broader Hospital Administration Team. We are encouraging applicants with significant clerical experience to apply for this position.
In this role you will be an essential leader within the team ensuring departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for maintaining relations with all internal and external customers and continually provide service enhancements to meet customer expectations.
