JOB SUMMARY

The Front Office Intern will support the Front Office team in delivering outstanding guest service by learning and assisting with reception, check-in/check-out processes, and guest inquiries. This internship provides valuable exposure to hotel operations, customer service, and administrative tasks in a dynamic hospitality environment.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Tourism program.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures under supervision.
  • Provide general information about the hotel’s services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Assist with handling guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Support the Front Office team in coordinating with other departments (housekeeping, concierge, F&B).
  • Help prepare welcome amenities and manage VIP guest experiences.
  • Maintain the front desk area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Observe and assist in resolving guest issues or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Learn and use hotel property management systems (PMS) for basic tasks and data entry.
  • Assist in gathering guest feedback and identifying opportunities for service improvement.
  • Shadow team members to understand key roles within the front office and guest relations.
