Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant Manager, this hands-on position will see you drive the performance of Front Office Operations including Concierge, Front Desk and Night Audit teams. Job Description Be guest obsessed and passionate about team development, guest loyalty and have an eye for the little things. To support smooth and efficient running of the Front Office Operations, with a high level of guest service always provided. Be responsible for creating a “Can do, Guest Obsessed Culture” to support the achievement of key financial & reputational targets. Lead by example in all Front Office service areas and shifts ensuring your team provide a warm genuine welcome to guests, anticipate their needs, and go above and beyond to create memorable moments. Have a genuine passion for bringing out the best and building the capabilities of each team member. Be deadline driven and ensure the highest standards within your department are achieved. Attend & host departmental briefings. Run and actively participate in weekly Front Office meetings, respecting the confidentiality of issues which may be discussed formally or informally. Lead the team by example with impeccable grooming and presentation. Have a passion for creating exceptional experiences for our guests. Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills. Have Full working rights in Australia Qualifications The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required Have previous experience as Assistant Front office manager/Senior Duty Manager within the hospitality industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills and pride in personal presentation A people person who is able to make genuine connections with their colleagues and guests A genuine passion for customer service with a strong focus on always making our guest’s feel welcome during their stay Have previous experience working in a large 4-5 Star property. Have the availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and late nights and Public Holidays, Monday to Sunday. Have a sound understanding of OperaCloud, HUBoS, PABX, DrivO, Ariel, ResaWeb, DataWeb, ACDC, HotelLink & Trust You.
