This position is responsible for directing, managing and coordinating all aspects of the Front Office function, processes and staff while participating in patient care, ensuring that all duties assigned are done in an efficient and professional manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Two plus years of experience in a medical front office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and eClinical Works.
  • Ability to team build (convince a group of people to work toward a goal).
  • Ability to coach and develop-provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
  • Ability to organize, direct oneself and effectively supervise others.
  • Must be dependable and trustworthy.
  • Ability to formulate sound decisions using the available information.

Responsibilities
  • Arranges and ensures compliance for daily Front Office duties.
  • Sends out Front Office schedule, as needed.
  • Acts as a point of contact for call outs and PTO approval. Arranges for staff coverage.
  • Acts as a point of contact for patient complaints.
  • Reviews ASC and clinic schedules to ensure optimal appointment flow.
  • Authorizes overriding the schedule template.
  • Trains and monitors Front Office staff with Company and Departmental policies.
  • Trains and monitors Front Office staff with the daily workflow, ensuring all daily tasks are completed.
  • Conducts initial job interviews for Front Office staff and provides recommendations for hire.
  • Conducts 45-day, 90-day and Annual Performance Reviews for all Front Office staff in conjunction with the Regional Administrator.
  • Troubleshoots workflow and process problems and recognizes trends. Recommends solutions.
  • Models and monitors Customer Service of Front Office staff.
  • Creates a team environment for Front Office staff and exercises conflict resolution skills when necessary.
