JOB SUMMARY

The Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for overseeing daily office activities, managing clerical tasks, and maintaining a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in office management software, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties:

  • Supervision of Front Office Staff: Directly supervises personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Guest Relations Management: Manages guest interactions, addresses complaints, handles special requests, and resolves issues promptly.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinates front desk, reservations, and guest services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Liaises with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs and ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintaining Standards: Ensures the front office area is clean, presentable, and welcoming; enforces policies related to cash handling, check-ins, and check-outs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a front desk supervisor/manager or similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
