Description Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated front office Medical Assistant for a fast-paced Urgent Care. *Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience. Responsibilities and Duties Excellent customer service skills are a must. Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome. Efficiently check patients in and out. Verify insurance and collect co-payments. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Demonstrate compassion to patients. Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues. Perform other assigned duties or those within the front office scope. Experience preferred but not required. Hourly Range: $16.50-$21 Requirements Qualifications Medical Assistant Certificate (Required) CPR-BLS (Required) Language English (Required) Spanish (Preferred) Education High School Diploma or GED (required)
