THE ROLE Chetola Resort is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Night Auditor to serve as the overnight face of the resort. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth overnight operations at the front desk, assisting guests with late-night needs, and performing essential auditing tasks to reconcile the day’s financial transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, customer-service focused, and comfortable working independently in a serene overnight environment. SCHEDULE Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (full-time). Weekend and holiday availability required. Opportunity to pick up occasional day shift is also available if desired. WHAT YOU’LL DO Guest Experience & Service Delivery Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Serve as the primary contact for guest needs during overnight hours Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with relevant departments as needed Provide resort information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience Audit & Administrative Tasks Complete nightly audit of all daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest folios Prepare daily summary reports for management and accounting Post charges and payments to guest accounts Balance and reconcile front desk cash drawer and credit card transactions Monitor room availability and manage overnight reservations or walk-ins Operations & Safety Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming front desk and lobby area Conduct nightly property walks and ensure security measures are in place Follow all company procedures and maintain accurate records of overnight incidents or issues Requirements ABOUT YOU A dependable night owl who thrives in a quiet, independent work environment Approachable, courteous, and calm under pressure Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to handle sensitive guest situations with discretion and professionalism REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or night audit strongly preferred Previous experience using Property Management Systems (e.g., Maestro, Opera, etc.) Comfortable working overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Proficiency with computers and ability to learn property management systems Strong communication and basic math/accounting skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally WHY CHETOLA One of the largest private employers in the county with a dynamic work setting and strong potential for career growth Join a dedicated and growing team shaping the next era of a beloved mountain resort Contribute meaningfully to a culture rooted in connection, craftsmanship, and care Competitive hourly wage with a consistent overnight schedule (Thursday–Saturday) Comprehensive benefits offered to full-time eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits as well as PTO and on-property perks Chetola Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
