Respond to guest requests and handle complaints in line with service standards, always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Take initiative to personalise each guest experience and look for opportunities to up-sell hotel services and facilities. Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local information to assist guests effectively. Manage guest accounts, payments, deposits, adjustments, and balances in accordance with hotel procedures. Answer calls and enquiries promptly, using brand greeting standards, and provide accurate information. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and security protocols, including Guest ID verification and key control. Maintain accurate guest profiles in Opera and complete daily administrative and reporting tasks. Present a professional image at all times, adhering to grooming and workplace standards. Support departmental performance by reviewing service quality (LQA, RPS results) and suggesting improvements. Front Office experience is an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory, with additional languages (e.g., Chinese) considered an asset. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg on occasion. Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation; shifts may include overnight hours, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift. Strong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA (or similar). Highly responsible and reliable. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management, and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with the ability to work cohesively with colleagues.
