DEPARTMENTAL KEY TASKS:

• Ensure all enquiries and requests are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
• Ensure guests requirements are carried out efficiently.
• Responsible for correct balancing of cash and credit transactions from front house system.
• Have a full knowledge of all bedrooms, their location and what they consist of.
• Allocation of arrivals for next day’s business.
• Knowledge of complete day’s business.
• Handle reservation calls where required.
• Knowledge of local amenities and local transport.
• Full knowledge of all bedroom rates and what they entail.
• Correctly balance front office system at end of shift.
• Full knowledge of all departments opening and closing times.
• Complete knowledge of telephone system and all the different extensions of the hotel.
• Full pass over at the end of every shift using reception diary to record in.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: €13.80 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week
