Job Description

You will provide our guests with excellent service: as a friendly voice on the phone, an amicable contact by email or with a welcoming smile at check-in. At the front desk and in our Reservations department, you will be responsible for:

  • Looking after our guests, including check-in and check-out
  • Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options
  • Maintaining Mews or Opera, as well as our electronic bookings systems
  • Producing and verifying invoices, including managing payments
  • Cash transactions and cashing up
  • Administrative and organisational tasks (e.g. managing no-shows, answering emails)

Qualifications

Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers – you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:

  • Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering/customer call centre industry or be looking for a change of career
  • Have an excellent sense of quality and service, as well as hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry
  • Be open and communicative and have a solid command of (written and spoken) English
  • Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together
  • Knowledge of Mews or Opera and Front Office PMS is an advantage
  • Should work 3 Reservations shifts and one Reception shift ( Total 32 hours a week)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK ( please note the Company does not provide sponsorship Visas)
