About the position: The Front Office Shiftleader plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth daily operation of the reception team during assigned shifts. This position combines hands-on guest service, operational oversight, and team leadership to maintain Fýri’s high standards of hospitality in a busy mountain resort environment. Key responsibilities Lead and supervise the front office team during shifts, ensuring excellent service and adherence to hotel standards Manage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a warm welcome for guests Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, and other departments to resolve guest issues and optimise operations Oversee reservations, room assignments, and payment processing; ensure correct use of the property management system Monitor occupancy, arrivals, and departures; assist with forecasting and shift handovers Train, mentor, and develop front office colleagues; foster a supportive, collaborative, and service-oriented team culture Ensure public areas around reception are welcoming, tidy, and reflect Fýri’s brand standards Follow and promote health & safety, cash handling, and data protection procedures Who are you? Qualifications Previous experience in hotel reception or front office operations; supervisory or lead experience preferred Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Scandinavian languages is an advantage Experience with property management or booking systems and confident computer skills Service-minded, organised, and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays Positive team player with leadership skills and a willingness to coach and develop colleagues Employment details Employment type: 80% seasonal with the possibility of permanent employment (day, evening, and weekend work) Start date and salary: Salary according to agreement, start date in April/May 2026 About the process: We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, with a final application date of March 20th.
