WE ARE SEEKING AN EAGER AND DEDICATED FULL-TIME BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) FRONT OFFICER SUPERVISOR TO CHAMPION AND OVERSEE THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE ON THE FRONT END, IN SCHEDULING, REFERRALS, BILLING, AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING PATIENT CONCERNS. THIS POSITION WILL:

  • Supervise and our fabulous Medical Receptionists and Referral Coordinators, providing onboarding, training, support, mentorship, and leadership.
  • Set the tone for the patient experience and interface with the back office medical side to ensure patients office visits happen smoothly.
  • Prioritize, multi-task and handle complex situations in a timely manner, following policies and procedures and compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Provide hands on and in person support to staff, by being a physical presence and role model for staff.

  • St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers utilizes EPIC for our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Clinic hours are Monday through Saturday, 8AM – 5PM. Position requires working one Saturday per month for which a weekday is flexed off.

Requirements:

EDUCATION:

  • High School Graduate or GED.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of Supervisory Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a medical office scheduling
  • Minimum of 2 years billing experience in a medical office
  • Experience in community healthcare setting, preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal/cultural sensitivity to work with a diverse and underserved populations
  • Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently without an interpreter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications
  • Ability to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding health care
  • Proficiency in EMR Systems (We use EPIC) (Preferred)
