Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Working on the reception desk, check in, check out and dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Handling telephone enquiries for all areas of the hotel.
  • Cash handling, taking reservations.
  • Offering the highest standard of customer service.
  • Using the hotel software system, outlook, excel and word.
  • Attention to detail in relation to all admin work
  • Ensure you maintain a complete and expert product knowledge of the hotel including pricing, menu options, room capacities, equipment usage in order to best advise the potential customer and maximise yield potential.
  • Use of the hotel’s reservations system Hotsoft
  • Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm, friendly and courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all department personnel.
  • Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling front office departmental operations.
  • Work with the management team to ensure strong morale amongst the team at all times.
