Description:

ROCKY CREST RESORT IS HIRING!

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will directly supervise all front office personnel and ensure proper completion of all front office duties. You will direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • General office communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work variety of shifts, including days, evening, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in hiring, training, and on-going supervision of the Front Desk staff.
  • Provides guests with outstanding guest service, efficient and effective registration and billing services in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Reviews of staff shift work and cash handling for errors to maintain accurate records.
  • Assumes Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned.
  • Prepares monthly reports and budget for front office department.
  • Reviews daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit Reviews.
  • Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.
  • Maintains an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.
