We are searching for a strong team player and people person to join our team as the Front Office Supervisor at our stunning slopeside hotel. In this role, you’ll manage daily operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our guests from arrival to departure. Your leadership will foster a cohesive team dynamic, enhancing guest satisfaction and creating a thriving work environment. You must be comfortable working different shifts (morning, afternoon, evening), diffusing tense situations, and directing the public. You will be able to guide team members toward success and growth, contributing to the organization’s excellence, and empowering individuals within the Tourism/Hospitality industry. Compensation Information: $23.58 per hour
Physical Requirement: Medium (M) to Heavy (H) – handling loads more than 20kg; predominantly indoors, with some outdoors.

SKILLS YOU BRING WITH YOU:

  • 1-year minimum Front Desk experience, coupled with some progressive supervisory experience in any field; resort experience is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration and guest experience.
  • Proficiency with computer systems required, such as Microsoft Office and Opera.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

  • Champions guest resolution using existing SOGs; and provides ongoing suggested improvements to the Front Office Manager.
  • Interacts with the guests throughout the duration of their stay, anticipating their needs and proactively resolving guest concerns.
  • Acts as the Lobby Ambassador - Hotel & Guest Liaison.
  • Manages and owns the lobby, providing the best experience for guests and visitors alike.
  • Diffuses potentially awkward and hostile situations; dispatches Security as required.
