Job Description As our next Front Office Team Leader, you… Are the ‘face of' The Ibis London Canning Town, extending a warm welcome to our guests, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay. Provide guidance and support to the team, supervising hotel operations Help team members performing their tasks and look for improvement/training opportunities Develop sales skills to assist your team in delivering world-class results Help the hotel meet its targets Are an autonomous and passionate individual, confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention. Maintain strong working relationships and communicate with all departments, ensuring a continuous link between night and day. Ability to work independently and efficiently, sometimes during overnight hours Qualifications Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience with Opera PMs or similar, preferred but not essential Proficiency in using financial software and hotel management systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently with little supervision. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
