Job Description As a Front Office Welcomer (Porter), you provide the initial welcome and the final “au revoir” to our guests, whilst assisting with their luggage and vehicles. We are looking for genuine and passionate hospitality professionals to join our Front Office Team on the Driveway to provide luxury service to our guests. You will be responsible for: • Offering a warm welcome and farewell to our guests • Attending to guest’s requests quickly and efficiently, constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction. • Parking and retrieving guest vehicles • Delivery and collection of guest luggage • Assisting guests with directions and other enquiries • Delivering personalised service with passion and professionalism • Ensuring the highest level of security for guests’ luggage and vehicles Qualifications •A full Driver’s licence •Experience driving in Australia is an advantage •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Initiate contact and establish rapport easily •A friendly disposition and the ability to remain calm in high pressure work situations •Demonstrated versatility and initiative in responding to guest requests and situations Additional Information Sofitel Melbourne on Collins provides ambassadors career development opportunities within the hotel and wider Accor Group.
