Description

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Front-End Developer with a UX Focus to help us bridge the gap between our current AngularJS application and a new front end built with modern Angular. This role mixes building new features with keeping an existing product running smoothly. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a native mobile app version of the web application. Because our team is small, you will not just be handed specs; you will be part of the conversations that shape how things look, feel, and work. If you enjoy working on both code and design, and like turning ideas into usable interfaces, you will fit right in.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
  • Hands-on work with both AngularJS and Angular (v8+).
  • Some background in UX design; you have created user flows, wireframes, or prototypes and enjoy design discussions.
  • Familiarity with RxJS, routing, and state management in Angular.
  • Comfortable working with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience using Git for version control.
  • Bonus: exposure to Tailwind CSS, tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, migration projects from AngularJS to Angular, or experience with native mobile app frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android).

  • Connect front-end components to back-end services through RESTful APIs.
  • Participate in the planning and initial development of a native mobile app version of the web application.
  • Debug issues, write tests, and keep performance in mind as the application grows.
  • Document design decisions, components, and best practices as we evolve.

WHY YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS ROLE

  • You will have a hand in both maintaining a product and shaping its future.
