DEINE AUFGABEN

We are looking for a Frontend/Markup Developer to join our AEM Component Development Team, supporting the component maintenance and development workstream for our client’s Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based Content Management Platform. If you are passionate about clean, high-quality frontend development and enjoy working on both legacy and new components, this role is for you!

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Optional: Prior experience with frontend aspects of AEM component development.
  • Strong expertise in high-quality markup using LESS (BEM methodology) and vanilla JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with component and design systems.
  • Experience working with legacy frontend build systems, including:
  • YAML/Handlebars
  • Gulp
  • ESLint & Stylelint
  • Ability to read, understand, and debug legacy code.
  • Experience with Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe XD, with the ability to understand and interpret wireframes.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain both legacy and new AEM components.
  • Collaborate closely with AEM (Backend) Developers, Technical Project Managers and Account Stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Work closely with the UX team, interpreting and implementing wireframes and design specifications.
  • Debug and resolve frontend-related incidents and issues.
  • Write high-quality markup and frontend code that aligns with company quality and formal standards.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure the implementation meets all quality benchmarks.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to define and develop new requirements.
  • Support the team in weekly deployment cycles and ensure a smooth release process.
