Who We Are Based in The Romania Excellence Centre, Bucharest - our client is seeking for experienced professionals who value teamwork, pioneering technology, and innovation. Our Know Your Client application enables advisors to collect information about new potential customers, calculates their risk and decides in a workflow to accept or reject the customer as a client. Additionally, all clients are reviewed on a periodic schedule. The solution is using REACT as front end, Java/Spring Boot as backend and an Oracle Exa-Database for storage. The instance is hosted on-prem on application servers. A migration of the hosting to Google Cloud and a role out of new instances in new locations is in progress. We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to help create the next big thing in digital banking. What You’ll Be Doing Work independently and suggest architecture and design improvements to existing implementations Collaborate with our engineering team across all stages of the product lifecycle Work on an Agile team with a modern CI/CD environment Understand and apply software design concepts like security, availability, and scalability Create clean, modern, and testable code with good documentations Write unit and integration tests and integrate them into the automated development pipeline Provide accurate estimates of development time and aid in implementing business requirements for project Mentor and support junior team members through code review, pair programming, and collaboration Collaborate with business analysts, users, and UI designers to jointly develop effective solutions Voracious learner. You’re quick to share tips and tools you’ve picked up and you’re open to learning new things from your co-workers What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field At least 5 years of frontend development experience In-depth knowledge of the development of web-based user interfaces with React.js, Javascript, and Typescript Practical knowledge of REST endpoints and APIs Demonstrate a passion for building high-quality software Experience with Google Cloud would be a plus Be a proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with creative and technical peers Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment Document What’s in it for you ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge. Responsibilities

The Frontend Software Engineer will work independently to suggest architecture and design improvements, collaborate with the engineering team throughout the product lifecycle, and create clean, modern, and testable code. They will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with business analysts and UI designers.
