About the Role:

Open Innovation AI is expanding its on-site product engineering team in Abu Dhabi and needs a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer whose primary focus is writing exceptional code. You’ll dive deep into feature development, shape our design system alongside UI/UX designers, and contribute to architectural decisions that power our AI-driven platform. If you thrive on variety, jumping between new feature implementation, design-system work, and refining SDLC processes— this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and Ship Features: Design, code, test, and deliver complex user-facing features using modern TypeScript and React frameworks.
• Architectural Conversations: Participate in technical design discussions, review proposals, and influence frontend architecture.
• Shape the Design System: Collaborate closely with UI/UX to extend and refine our component library, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Select Your Work Streams: Rotate across feature work, performance optimizations, tooling improvements, and design-system tasks—picking areas where you add the most value.
• Drive Code Quality: Champion automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code-review best practices that keep our release cadence fast and safe.
• Improve Developer Experience: Evaluate new libraries, propose refactors, and introduce tooling that boosts productivity across the frontend guild.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, building production-grade web applications.
• Expertise in TypeScript and React (or comparable component-based framework) plus modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid, pre-/post-processors).
• Solid grasp of basic data structures and how they work
• Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort collaborating in agile teams, participating in code reviews, and writing clear technical documentation

·        Associate SDE & Bubble Developer with 4 years of experience building scalable apps, multi-tenant platforms, and No-Code solutions that enhance efficiency and user adoption

·        Strong technical expertise in Bubble.io, Figma, n8n, RAG, AI product management, LLM fine-tuning, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, React, REST APIs, workflow automation, SQL, and cloud integrations

·        Skilled in designing wireframes, prototypes, and MVPs, combining product research with business outcomes and intuitive user experiences

·        Effective collaborator and problem-solver, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions

·        Experienced in leading small teams, mentoring junior developers, managing development workflows, and ensuring projects meet deadlines and objectives
