Description ECS Composites is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented FRP/Carbon Molder to join our production team on swing shift. This position is responsible for fabricating fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and carbon fiber composite parts using established manufacturing processes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare molds, tools, and materials for composite lay-up and molding operations · Perform fiberglass and carbon fiber lay-up processes according to work instructions and specifications · Mix and apply resins, adhesives, and other composite materials · Inspect parts for defects, quality concerns, and compliance with production standards · Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently · Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals · Maintain a clean and organized work area · Complete required production paperwork and documentation accurately · Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements · Work collaboratively with supervisors, leads, quality, and other production team members · Perform other duties as assigned Requirements · Previous manufacturing or composite experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate · Experience working with fiberglass, carbon fiber, resins, or composite materials is a plus · Ability to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings · Strong attention to detail and quality standards · Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements · Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally · Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive hand movements · Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators if needed · Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and varying temperatures Work Schedule · This position is scheduled for swing shift. Overtime may be required based on production and business needs.
