ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong communication and task management skills
• Detailed checking skills for the stock replenishment
• Comfortable with hands on work and some heavy lifting

• Cut, prepare, weigh, price, wrap fresh fruit and vegetables, and display products on the shelves with the correct price label and product description
• Monitor any product that is out of stock, report to store management team immediately
• Ensure the produce is correctly displayed correctly according to the company’s visual merchandising standards
• Make sure the stock is in rotation - first in, first out (short dated item in front and longer dated item in the back)
• Work with other colleagues to process and receive deliveries. Check the quantity, quality and BBD, as well as organising and placing the stocks neatly on display
• Check pricing of all fruit and vegetables with price system and amend as needed
• Report all safety hazards and risk issues to a member of the store management team immediately
• Take initiative and support other departments when needed or when requested by store management team
