Busy Bee Cafe in Atlanta, Ga is looking for fry cooks. We are located at 810 Martin Luther King Jr Dr. Our ideal candidate takes pride in the job, is self-driven, punctual and hardworking.

Responsibilities

  • Operate deep fryers, pressure fryers, waffle irons and ovens.
  • Must be able to filter oil throughout the day, break down and clean machines at closing and monitor equipment for damage and repairs.
  • Must maintain inventory of all items and supplies needed for fry station daily.
  • Perform all food preparation efficiently and maintain wastage at all times.
  • Maintain neat and clean work station area
  • Prepare all food orders according to required standards and procedures according to required food production standards and prepare daily production schedule and cut all fish, vegetables and poultry according.
  • Take all safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and safety goggles while filtering and cleaning equipment.
  • Must be able to cook a variety of items at one time
  • Must be ale to read tickets and called orders

Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of equipment used
  • Ability to communicate and listen effectively
  • Food handling certifications that apply
  • Previous experience in a fry cook position a plus
  • Must have experience frying bone in chicken in pressure fryer or similar equipment
  • Must be punctual and practice all safety procedures
  • Must be flexible between shifts
  • Must have knowledge of working safely around hot grease and utilizing all tools needed.
