JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking outgoing individuals who have a passion for the art of cooking. This employee will have excellent time management, cleanliness and organizational skills to ensure all food items meet Goode Company standards. RESPONSIBILITIES * Follow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food items * Prepare fryers and prep items in a timely matter * Become an expert on timing because fried foods must go out immediately * Maintaining fresh oil and disposing of used oil * Cook all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for customer consumption * Follow proper knife handling procedures * Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet Goode Company standards * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing * Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met * Assist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items QUALIFICATIONS * Punctual and reliable attendance * 2 plus years of kitchen experience in a high volume establishment * Must be 18 years of age * Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time * Effective time management skills * Able to work in with heated equipment * Ability to follow instructions and procedures WHERE WE MEET: You take joy in what you do, and we take pride in finding folks like you.
