FS2 (FOUNDATION STAGE 2) TEACHER – JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a passionate FS2 teacher to deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum. The role involves supporting early childhood development through creative teaching, positive classroom management, and close collaboration with staff and parents.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s in Education, Early Childhood/Nursery Education, or CACHE Level 3
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
• Experience in FS2 and knowledge of the British curriculum
• Strong grasp of EYFS principles and early child development
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and adaptability

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS framework
• Observe, assess, and track student progress
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialists to support student needs
• Maintain regular communication with parents
• Engage in professional development activities
