At EY, our Business Transformation Consulting team works with financial services clients to reimagine and redesign the inner workings of their operations, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future. We are currently seeking to hire into our Business Transformation Customer Team at Senior Consultant.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong understanding of core business operations gained through involvement/ delivery of projects across areas such as strategy, operating model design, customer experience design, lean process improvement, organisational design and transformation design and delivery
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability including logical reasoning, creative thinking and the ability to untangle complex issues for improving existing business processes and workflows
  • Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in delivering across our range of services
  • Partner with our clients to understand their business objectives, processes, and pain points, and translate them into comprehensive functional requirements
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organised and able to multitask to consistently deliver high-quality deliverables on time
  • Helping to shape creative and innovative solutions to address client issues
  • Communicating effectively with the EY engagement team, the client and internal and external stakeholders, as required
  • Working confidently with clients, to support building believed relationships
  • Stay abreast of latest Financial Service industry trends to drive innovation

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Degree qualified and have relevant professional experience; experience working on major transformation programmes is preferred.
  • Have ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and develop appropriate solutions
  • Minimum of 3 years in delivering change
  • Be experienced of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation
  • Understanding of trends and implications on the Financial Services industry
  • Be adept at overcoming issues and barriers
  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility
  • Have strong personal impact and resilience and be able to influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with experience in presenting to stakeholders
