We are actively recruiting high achieving individuals with AI and Data expertise in data-enabled transformation projects/ programmes within Financial Services: Banking, Insurance and Wealth and Asset management.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Data Analyst with a strong background in Channels and Mobile technology, and knowledge of Customer and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems data. The ideal candidate will have understanding of data in the Customer Channels domain, as well as the underlying data flow architecture, will have supported customer data migration, be adept at data sourcing, data wrangling, issue gap and root cause analysis, delivering in-depth analyses and designing data solutions for effective channel strategies and solutions that enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand business and technical requirements in order to identify, prioritise and document data requirements for channel strategies, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Conduct research and coordinate insights sessions in the selection and implementation of new data technologies, tools, and systems for enhanced Customer Channel performance.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing data processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and integration with customer and digital channel solutions.
  • Analyse and conduct gap analysis in existing Customer Channels data architectures to identify impact areas and design solution options.
  • Develop and implement data solutions to support the development and implementation of new channel solutions.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity throughout the transformation process, implementing controls and fixes as needed and maintaining compliance with the organisation’s Data Governance and Data Management policies and procedures.
  • Source, clean, and integrate data from various source systems, and conduct analysis to deliver insights informing channel strategies and customer engagement solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical and data teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data requirements and objectives.
  • Support the design and implementation of channel solutions using CRM platforms with data expertise, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure successful use and adoption of available data and reporting assets.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a blue-chip consulting firm as a Data Analyst with a focus on channel strategies and solutions.
  • Relevant work experience in MI/ BI reporting, data visualisation, data engineering, data science or advanced analytics roles.
  • Experience working with relevant data and analytics tools and languages relevant to your specialism (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, Hadoop, Apache Spark, SQL, Python for analytics, R, SAS, noSQL databases). Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Experience working with customer and digital platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft platforms, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and other related technologies.
  • Prior Financial Services experience (Banking, Insurance or Wealth and Asset Management).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to craft clear and professional PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex data and insights.
  • Familiarity with CRM best practices and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements relevant to multi-channel solutions.
  • Team centric mindset, always ready support their colleagues and not afraid to ask for help when needed.
  • Understanding and respect for client and team deadlines, great organisation skills and ability to organise and prioritise own work to achieve the delivery objectives.
  • Relevant certifications in CRM solutions and experience with Agile methodologies are a plus.
