EY’s FSO SAP Team are experiencing an exciting period of growth. In response to market demand, we are looking for an experienced, client facing Senior SAP BW/4 Consultant, with a keen focus on banking clients.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Support the development of SAP BW/4 HANA for a Banking client’s S/4 HANA transformation program, with a focus on:

  • Design and build BW/4 HANA solution. Deep hands-on experience with new BW/4 HANA solution design is must.
  • Analyse business requirements and apply principles, concepts and techniques in developing reporting solutions and strategies per financial services standards.
  • Responsible for analysing new requirements from the business and perform thorough FIT-GAP analysis, deliver SAP BW/4 HANA solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting platform.
  • Design functional and technical aspects of SAP BW/4 HANA data models. Also, develop the end-to-end testing methodology in alignment with S/4 HANA process testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Advance DSO, Composite Provider, Open ODS view design and build. Also, must have hands on with Native HANA Calculation view design and build experience.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4 HANA ABAP CDS views especially with Finance objects and Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) is essential.
  • Design & build reports and structures via various tools: BW/4 query, Analysis for Office, and SAC Stories.
  • Define and execute an agile / hybrid-agile delivery approach to requirements gathering and analysis for reporting requirements.
  • Lead reporting and analytics design workshops to gain a clear understanding of financial services (Banking or Insurance) clients’ needs and propose best practice solutions.

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

  • 10+ years of SAP BW development experience including both backend and front-end reporting experience. 8+ years of experience with Native HANA development and 3+ years of BW/4 HANA experience.
  • Experience working on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Banking industry.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a banking or insurance client-facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale complex Reporting & Analytics programmes in SAP Finance implementations.
  • A solid experience in BW/4 HANA design, architecture, configuration, modelling, data extraction and reporting areas.
  • Knowledge of BW4 Transport management and adhere to Change and Release Management process.
  • Strong hands-on experience on HANA SQL Scripting - creating and debugging SQL scripts.
  • Proven experience of full-cycle SAP implementation projects through all phases and associated deliverables
  • Proven experience in IT change projects with a range of streams, partners, and technologies (incl. IT infrastructure, IT Security, IT Operations, IT applications etc.) across the full delivery lifecycle is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong ability to be a team player, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach across the team.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and build and leverage relationships with key client stakeholders.
