Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage technology risk consulting engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technology risk needs and providing strategic guidance.
  • Conduct assessments of clients’ technology risk environments, including IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology risk management frameworks and solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials and participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting in proposal development.
  • Maintaining both externally and internally recognised technical expertise in a number of the following areas:
  • IT Risk Management
  • IT Controls Testing or IT Audit
  • Regulatory Resilience Requirements e.g. DORA, Operational Resilience
  • Outsourced Services Management
  • Ensuring that risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Experience managing consulting engagements and delivering results for clients.
  • Strong understanding of technology risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members
