Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Help the Food Safety and Quality team implement plans to manage quality risks and improve processes. Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints. Support the team in making decisions to reduce complaints and improve production quality. Participate in regular audits and checks to ensure quality standards are met. Assist with testing and sampling of products to ensure they meet quality standards. Represent the Food Safety and Quality team in new product development and changes to processes or packaging. Provide training to other teams on quality procedures. Help with reporting and meetings to ensure quality standards are met. Ensure all products meet customer and company quality requirements before they are released About you: Strong foundation in food safety and quality, with a good understanding of low acid and acid food safety principles. Ability to grasp technical concepts and make informed decisions on product quality. Experience with quality risk assessment and sound judgment. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. High level of computer literacy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems. High level of personal integrity and a strong sense of right and wrong. Strong character and a passion for working in the food industry, with relevant technical experience. Eligibility to work in New Zealand – with full working rights.
