QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) TECHNOLOGIST – BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING

Location: East Toronto (Onsite)
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year + benefits

About the Opportunity A growing and well-established beverage manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to support the continuous improvement and integrity of their food safety and quality systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to deepen their career in quality assurance within a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

As a key member of the QA team, you will play an important role in maintaining the facility’s food safety and quality management systems. You’ll support audits, perform product and raw material evaluations, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols. What You’ll Do

• Review quality and production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct GMP audits across production areas and identify non-conformances
• Assist in updating SOPs and maintaining HACCP documentation
• Support both internal and external audits, including those by regulatory bodies and customers
• Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Review specifications and conduct testing of raw materials and finished goods
• Support test batch evaluations and contribute to new product development from a QA perspective

What You Bring

• 2+ years of QA or food safety experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related discipline
• Proficiency in lab practices and data/document management
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (CFIA, FDA) and standards (GMP, HACCP)
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and Saturdays as required
