Description Activities Coordinator, Assisted LivingFull Time Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking a creative, compassionate, and organized Assisted Living Activities Coordinator to enhance the daily lives of our residents. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating engaging programs and events that promote connection, wellness, and overall well-being within our assisted living community. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors and brings energy, creativity, and a resident-centered approach to activity programming. Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead engaging activities and events tailored to residents’ needs and interests Create and maintain a monthly activity calendar Support resident wellness through meaningful programming Assess, document, and update resident activity preferences and care plans Participate in care team meetings and collaborate across departments Coordinate volunteers and provide individualized resident engagement Track attendance, maintain supplies, and evaluate program effectiveness Ensure safety during all activities and assist with off-site outings Support event logistics, budgeting, and community communications (e.g., newsletter) Requirements What We Need In A Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in geriatric studies or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 3 years’ experience planning activities for seniors Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Basic computer proficiency Compassion, creativity, and a passion for working with older adults What A Candidate Can Expect From Seafields by Bishop Gadsden: Be part of a brand new, state-of-the art, mission-driven organization that values safety, dignity, and community Competitive pay and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and much more!)
