Student Care is a group of eight established school-age care programs located in highly regarded elementary schools, providing quality and age appropriate program experiences for groups of children and families since 1988.
We are seeking to welcome full-time and part-time staff members with Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2 or 3 certification (or those looking to enroll in education in the ECE field) to our before and after school program supervision teams at any of our locations listed below.
Hours can be full-time if the candidate would like to work lunchtime supervision, or part-time if the candidate would only like to work in the before and after school program.
Location 1: Sunalta Elementary School (536 Sonora Avenue SW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 12:00 PM-6:00 PM, with optional lunch supervision at the Calgary Arts Academy from 11:45-1:45 PM Monday to Friday (total of 28 to 36.25 hours per week).
Location 2: Across the street from the Jennie Elliott Elementary School (3023 63 Ave. SW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:15 AM-9:15 AM and 12:30 PM-6:00 PM, with optional lunch supervision at the Calgary Arts Academy from 11:45-1:45 PM Monday to Friday (total 27.5 to 36.25 hours per week).
Location 3: Calgary Arts Academy Elementary School (2036 20th Ave SW). The hours will be Monday to Friday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM and 2:45 PM-6:00 PM (total 36.25 hours per week).
Location 4: Belfast School (1229 17A St. NE). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 12:00 PM-6:00 PM (total 28 hours per week).
Location 5: Westmount Charter School (728 32 St. NW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 2:00 PM-6:00 PM (total 26 hours per week).
Location 6: Colonel Sanders School (226 Northmount Dr. NW). The hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, and Fridays 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 1:00 PM-6:00 PM (total 27 hours per week).
Please note that for Non-School Days, we will ask if you can work an 8 hour straight through shift, unless you have scheduling conflicts, which can be discussed in the interview.
The successful candidates will join an experienced team to implement the daily program plan which may include, but is not limited to, arts and crafts, science experiments, gross/fine motor activities both indoors and outdoors, homework support, engaging and supporting students who attend Kindergarten through Grade 6, and serving as an outstanding role model.
