Description JOB SUMMARY: Actively partner with the branches you are assigned, by joint calling on existing clients and prospects in your markets under your set dollar amount. Partner with the Branch Experience Manager with scheduling days at your assigned branch locations, along with attending monthly meetings to assist the strategic direction of business growth and broaden usage of the following products: Business Plus Finance Manager Remote Deposit Merchant Services Business Credit Cards Autobooks Electronic Lockbox DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development In conjunction with branch management, develop and execute a formal calling program for potential and existing commercial customers Develop referrals, leads and prospects for the branch manager, commercial relationship manager, mortgage lending, dealer lending and CRB, ability to enter referrals in Synapsys, and Deluxe site. Number of referrals required for the year will be shared in January of each year. Aggressively solicit business in targeted markets as directed by management Work with the Business Solutions team on tracking results. Educate branch staff on identifying opportunities, attend branch staff meetings. Complete documentation of calling efforts on a monthly basis in Synapsis. Establish effective time management techniques to maintain proper balance between calling on potential customers and prospects and selling new services to existing customers Routinely incorporate compliance (knowledge of laws/regulations) in day-to-day tasks maintaining a Professional relationship with business clients that have Business Solutions in your market. Promote and preserve JBT’s values and culture Follow Bank policy and procedure to prevent fraud and financial crimes Other duties as assigned Business Solutions Deliver marketing, service agreements, product training, client implementation, and internal/external communication for assigned products and services/branches Maintain and deliver expert level knowledge related to existing and new product lines, strategies and tactics to meet changing environment, customer preference and revenue targets Working Knowledge of Xperience platform Work with the BizSol team to monitor product revenues and expenses and recommend pricing to achieve profitability goals Work closely with Digital Banking in setting up new customers for assigned products Partner with the branch teams to attend new business account openings Maintain a presence in the branch offices Attend Business Solutions Meetings Partner with the team on calls, and coverage for markets Requirements SKILLS Knowledge of Business (Cash Management) Solutions Knowledge of Online Banking Services Ability to communicate effectively/professionally with prospects, customers, staff and management Ability to project a professional image personally and professionally Ability to maintain proper records of contacts and calls Willingness to be involved in the civic and professional communities to promote the bank and develop prospects Willingness and ability to develop established sales skills Self-motivated to pursue new business at every opportunity Excellent time management skills Ability to communicate across all types of platforms Strong product knowledge skills for JBT and competitors Ability to operate the following office equipment: Laptop, Ipad, Cell Phone, proficient computer skills, high level of keyboard proficiency, including MS Word / Excel & Adobe applications Proficient math skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education, High School Diploma or equivalent Experience- 3 or more years branch experience with at least two years as a community banker. Ability to handle confidential materials Work well independently Ability to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to self-learn Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds
