JOB SUMMARY

The Creative & Marketing Support Specialist, under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator, will be involved in all areas of marketing within the Marketing Department. This individual will be responsible for all creative content, including digital and print catalogues, retail signage, website and social media graphics, internal and external communications, ad creative, and more. This individual will be involved in the collection and analysis of data for market research, offer feedback in the development of advertising campaigns, and create high value content. This role will also be responsible for supporting SEO, keyword database, and website initiatives.
The Marketing Support Specialist must be able to work effectively in an individual and team environment, align with our core values and understand and embrace our vision and mission.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be proficient with the use of Adobe Suite
  • One year of related experience in marketing automation
  • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Ability to write and edit content on creative platforms, such as Adobe suite.
  • Three years of related experience in marketing
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
  • Experience in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs
  • General understanding of social media marketing
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • High level of integrity and work ethic

Responsibilities
  • Design creative content for digital and print use, including retail signage, website graphics, and catalogues
  • Assist in the creation of targeted national media campaigns and promotions
  • Develop and execute digital strategies and marketing campaigns such as email, SEO, SEM, display, social and cross-media advertising that incorporate strong analytical measurement capabilities
  • Leverage various platforms to build Scholar’s Choice brand awareness and develop deeper resonance with existing clients
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML)
  • Create and assist with marketing automation using HubSpot
  • Create and maintain landing pages and forms using HubSpot platform
  • Collect and analyze data from market research to generate appropriate marketing tools
  • Collect and store customer testimonials
  • Identify changes in the market by monitoring various social media sites and online publications
  • Develop and implement paid advertising campaigns Via Google Adwords, Facebook, etc.
  • Gather, research, and prepare statistics material for internal audiences
  • Assess characteristics of digital campaigns and advise on the company’s advertising needs based on insights and analytics.
  • Design, distribute and analyze market research questionnaires
  • Aid in promoting brand initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement communication and promotion strategies
  • Keep up-to-date on current marketing trends
  • Support the marketing team with duties directed by management
