We are looking for a thorough Plant OperationsTechnician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as carpentry, plumbing, snow removal, HVAC installations, electrical etc. Our Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The Plant Operations Technician is responsible to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of the facility, equipment, grounds, and property to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for the residents, staff and visitors. The Maintenance Technician must possess general maintenance skills in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc., or be adept in at least one of the trades. You must be a candidate that values being part of a family and not just a number! Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent desirable. HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid PA drivers license. Must be able to read, write, and take verbal direction. Must be available to work multiple shifts and be flexible in scheduling. Responsible to participate with the Off Hour on call program. This position requires response to emergency work orders, inclement weather events, and other unforeseen needs of the business. This position will require the use of a personal cell phone and business issued devices.
