Busy Bees at Fraser Coast is a 74-place centre located in the beautiful Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland. We seek passionate Early Childhood Educators dedicated to fostering young children’s growth. You’ll create nurturing, engaging learning environments, develop age-appropriate curricula, assess progress, and build strong family relationships. Ensure high-quality care and compliance with industry standards to support children’s holistic development and lifelong learning.

Role: Permanent Full time Educator
Location: Torquay, QLD, Australia
Salary: $30.53 - $33.65 (hourly) depending on the experience and qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
• A current and valid check that confirms the candidate’s suitability to work with children.
• First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
• Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.
• Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

• Passionate casual educator, creating fun and supportive learning experiences for young kids. Encourages growth and play in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.
• Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for children’s documentation, communication with families and educational planning.
